Vital Purple

Vital Purple Cacao is the most powerful cacao in the world. No other cacao offers such a concentrated combination of flavanols, polyphenols, antioxidants, and anthocyanins. It is the first cacao product in the world offered in a completely natural, raw state, not exceeding 85°F (29°C).
With our proprietary drying process, we prevent the cacao from fermenting. It’s as if you were cutting open a freshly-picked cacao pod and eating it.
Vital Purple cacao is grown at 2,790 feet above sea level in the Puerto Quito Region of Ecuador’s Pichincha province on family-owned farms consisting of less than 24 acres, caring for a National Treasure known as “Pichincha Nacional”. Typically, these Nacional trees are grown around citric fruits, soursop, dragon fruit, and coffee, which adds flavor to the cacao.
In recent years, cacao has been crossbred to make it naturally resistant to pests, dried on the side of the road after it’s harvested, fermented and roasted. Traceability is next to impossible with this strain of cacao since most producers often crossbreed it.
Mission
Vital Purple aims to entirely reshape how people think about cacao products and chocolate. Through educating on the true power of cacao that is unleashed when processed correctly, we can change millions of lives with this global ingredient. Hundreds of cacao and chocolate companies begin by roasting cacao before combining it with sugar, additives, preservatives, and other ingredients detrimental to our health, all for the good of taste. When cacao is eaten in its raw state and not high-temperature roasted, however, its nutrient density is truly remarkable.
We want people to understand that this was the original method of consuming cacao for thousands of years, even being practiced to this day on cacao farms for endurance, energy, and focus. Cacao farms are frequently passed down from generation to generation and the traditions of world-class cultivation, harvesting, and processing techniques have been passed down along with them.
When we begin to shift our understanding of cacao from a tasty snack to a supplement, we can understand why God blessed the earth with this plant. Vital Purple unleashes the true power of cacao through a proprietary drying process that preserves the nutrients of the raw cacao, which reveals the potential that cacao has. Vision
